Hi! I’m Ellie, and I’m so glad you’re here! I’m passionate about helping you see the parts of yourself that vie for your attention, but perhaps don’t get the time. It’s important to me to create a warm, safe space where you can bring every part of yourself, using your present to help you understand and reframe your past. Our time together is centered around your experience and the ways you hope to move through the world.

  • I support:

    • Individuals (adolescents 10+, teens, adults), in exploring the root of stressors, such as anxiety, depression, obsessive compulsions, and trauma

    • Adolescents and teens in learning how to live in a comparison heavy world and navigating anxiety, depression, identity, and peer relationships

    • Those carrying trauma, who are looking to redefine how they perceive themselves and the world around them

    • Those with a chronic illness, who are rediscovering themselves and how they relate to their body

    • Those supporting family members with chronic illness, navigating the challenges of caring for themselves and others, a job that often goes unseen.

Whether you are healing from trauma, learning to live alongside chronic illness, or simply longing for a space where you don’t have to explain or minimize your pain, you are welcome here. Together, we create a compassionate, steady space where you can gently reconnect with yourself and move toward healing in a way that honors your story and your body.

  • I believe that the way you think and how you relate to yourself and others has a real, tangible impact on your physical health and vice versa. I work with people whose nervous systems have been shaped by trauma or chronic illness. My approach aims to offer a steady, human space where you can soften, feel seen, and heal at your own pace.

I specialize in supporting adults, adolescents, and couples with:

    • Trauma healing including developmental, relational, and complex trauma

    • Anxiety, stress, and nervous-system regulation, through a body based integrative lens

    • Self-worth, identity, and life transitions, for those wanting to feel more aligned and whole

    • Grief and loss related to health changes, including ambiguous loss, changing abilities, and reimagining life after diagnosis

    • Boundaries, burnout, and compassion fatigue, especially for those caring for or living alongside chronic illness

    • The mind–body connection in chronic illness, including pacing, nervous system regulation, and learning to work with your body instead of against it

I use an integrative, body-based approach that brings together sandtray therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), parts-informed work using concepts from Internal Family Systems (IFS), and mind–body awareness to support healing that feels grounded, compassionate, and true to your lived experience.

  • Growing up alongside a chronically ill mother and sister gave me a deep, personal understanding of how chronic illness impacts not only the individual, but the entire family system— parents, siblings, and others. Through my own healing work, I developed a strong passion for walking alongside individuals and families who are carrying this kind of invisible weight. That passion has grown into a deep commitment to creating an open, steady, and accepting space where people can share honestly and feel supported. I believe burdens are not meant to be carried alone.

After six years of ministry and mentoring work in college campus ministry and church planting in Alaska, I felt called to pursue clinical training and began a Master’s degree in Clinical Social Work at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, with an expected graduation in May 2026. I completed my clinical internship at Vine School Health Center, where I practiced play-based therapy, sand tray therapy, EMDR, and IFS-informed work in 2025. I received formal training in EMDR through EMDRIA and am informed by the Internal Family Systems (IFS) model.

My work is grounded in creating a therapeutic space that honors both emotional and spiritual growth. I welcome individuals from diverse backgrounds and offer optional faith-integrated support for those who desire to incorporate their beliefs into the therapeutic process.

Every story deserves to be met with respect, care, and gentleness. It is an honor to walk alongside those on their own quest for healing, growth, and a sense of wholeness. The capacity for healing already lives within you, and together we can gently explore the path forward.
