Those I work with are individuals who are ready to begin—or continue—their healing journey with courage and openness. They may be feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected due to unresolved trauma or the impact of addiction, but they carry a deep desire for change and a willingness to explore what healing could look like.
They might be:
In early recovery, seeking support to build a strong foundation.
In long-term recovery, navigating deeper emotional work or life transitions.
Living with trauma, whether recent or long-standing, and looking for a safe space to process and grow.
Feeling isolated, misunderstood, or exhausted from trying to “hold it all together.”
Remember, you’re never “too much,” and your experiences aren’t either. It’s important to find a therapist who suits your personality. This enables you to find peace and safety to just be YOU!
I work with individuals who are seeking deeper healing and lasting change. My work is grounded in a trauma-informed, client-centered framework. I draw from a variety of evidence-based modalities to meet each client’s unique needs, including:
-
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing)
A powerful method for processing trauma and reducing emotional distress.Internal Family Systems (IFS)
A gentle, insightful approach that helps clients understand and heal the different “parts” of themselves.Trauma-Informed Care
Creating a safe, supportive environment that honors each client’s lived experience and fosters empowerment.Faith-Based Counseling
For clients who desire it, I integrate spiritual principles and faith-based perspectives into the therapeutic process, honoring each person’s unique beliefs and values.

My path to becoming a therapist began long before I earned my degree. I started therapy at age 13, navigating a life shaped by complex trauma and early struggles with addiction. These experiences have deeply informed both my personal healing and my professional calling.
I’ve been in recovery for 35 years—though the journey hasn’t been linear. I was sober for 7 years, then faced a difficult relapse that lasted another 7 years. For the past 21 years, I’ve maintained long-term sobriety and continued to grow through ongoing personal work, therapy, and spiritual development.
In 2012, I earned my Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling and have been in private practice ever since. Over the years, I’ve completed thousands of hours of advanced training in trauma-informed therapies, including:
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing)
Internal Family Systems (IFS)
Trauma-Informed Care
Faith-Based Counseling, for those who wish to integrate spiritual principles into their healing journey
My lived experience, combined with clinical expertise, allows me to meet clients with deep empathy, insight, and hope. I understand what it means to feel broken, stuck, or afraid—and I also know what it means to heal. Today, I’m honored to walk alongside others as they find their own path to freedom, healing, and wholeness.
